Introduced in 2017 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the transverse v-twin that proved a game-changer for Moto Guzzi, the V7 III is the third generation of this iconic model. Every detail has been fine-tuned to maximise owner satisfaction and riding pleasure, leaving the originality and authenticity of this machine unaltered. For 2020 the V7 III Stone is available in three captivating satin shades inspired by the typical tones of the 70s: Nero Ruvido (black), Grigio Granitico (granite grey) and Rosso Rovente, a fiery red.

THE CHASSIS: A GUARANTEE OF QUALITY

The double cradle steel frame distributes weight 46% up front and 54% at the rear. The reinforced front has a steering geometry that delivers dynamic cornering with exceptional handling and stability. Kayaba shock absorbers with adjustable spring preload ensure a progressive and controlled response, even with a passenger onboard. Completing the chassis is the 320-mm stainless steel floating disc with Brembo 4 piston callipers up front, for serious stopping power.

SMALL BLOCK MOTOR: UNIQUE CHARACTER AND SOUND

The Moto Guzzi 90° transverse V-twin engine is unique, designed not only with performance and reliability in mind, but also with the aim of creating maximum riding pleasure and fun on the road. The driveshaft is calculated to deliver more liveliness during inertia and stronger engine braking. The 744cc-cylinder is testament to the V7 III as the Moto Guzzi entry-level motorcycle. Maximum power is increased to 52 horsepower, with a truly flat torque curve to deliver ease of use combined with character and quick response. A reduced-power version is also available, to meet the limitations set by the A2 class driver's licence.

SAFETY: THE MOTO GUZZI HERITAGE

The V7 III is equipped with ABS and a new adjustable MGCT (Moto Guzzi Traction Control) system which can be disabled when not required. The dual-channel Continental ABS unit prevents the wheels locking up while MGCT prevents rear wheel spin during acceleration.
